Where are we all from ?

Born Otley. Lived in Sheffield, Glossop and North Derbyshire in my time.
 
Chorlton originally
Then Stockport
Moved to Edinburgh at 18
Moved to Finland at 30
Moved back to Edinburgh at 39
Now out in East Lothian as civil service wages really can’t buy anything in Edinburgh these days
 
Born .. Bradford, Manchester, only a few yards from where the Etihad now stands ... which was a colliery at the time!

Have lived in .... Bradford, Hulme, Ardwick, Whitefield, Harpurhey, Longsight, Cheadle Hulme, East Didsbury ....

Now .... have lived in Manchester City Centre (nr Northern Quarter) for past six years.

If you weren't born somewhere you'll always be a tourist.

My parents came to England, from Ireland, in their late teens, as soon as travel restrictions were lifted after WW2, and spent their entire adult lives here.

Fifty years later 'home' was still Ireland.
 
Born in St Mary's within sight of the Maine Road floodlights.

Lived my entire life in Gorton and West Gorton and will be buried in Gorton Cemetery.

If it wasn't for European away games I'd have seen fuck all of the world out there.
