Gran introduced me to Colin the king at the stadium a few bonfire nights ago - the one where Stevie picked up his superman nickname.

Crossed paths with Valeri Bojinov in Town one night last year.

Saw Tal Ben Haim in the Lowry (didnt stop and say hi - i wasn't a huge fan)

Saw Michael Johnson, Didi Hammann and Sven on the stadium tour a while ago

Reached over Thaksin's body guards for a handshake at the city thing at town hall square before he turned out to be a bit dodgey :/

And saw Gary Neville in the trafford centre a while back - oh they joy of shouting Gary and throwing a couple of signs up at him :)

About 5/6 years ago.Was in check-in at T1 to got to see friends in Spain.Sky Sports .Chris Kamara is stood in the queue in front of me in the queue for nthe flight.England where playing Sweden in a friendly I think.So I said."What you think of our chances of turning Sweden over"? Reply was "Don't put money on it".Bugger me he was right.Well Sven was in charge at the time.Was going upto !st class lounge he's sat there.So me and girlfriend of the time chatted to him for a while.I do remember him saying that he thought Sven would manage a Prem club at sometime.Told him I was a City.Just said."you never know".

Got my house on the market and a couple came round to see it a few weeks ago. Agents usually send someone but couldn't so I showed them round myself. Really nice couple and we were chatting away.

My son has his drums in the basement and he saw them and was chatting to my son about music. The name Elbow came up and he said "Oh yes I know all those guys but they don't speak to me now they're all rich and famous."

After they'd gone a little light went on in my brain and I said to my son "That was Guy Garvey". He didn't believe me so I e-mailed him via BBC 6 Music (where he does a show I listen to regularly) to ask him and he confirmed it was. Didn't buy the house though.

I've sat next to Carol Thatcher on the tube and Health Secretary & Leigh MP Andy Burnham (who's a big Everton fan) was on the train a couple of seats away from me on Sunday night going down to London.

As I am not actually a Hello pap, I of course I can't prove all of them, but I cannot understand why you think I would lie, anyway:

Glasgow Airport Holiday Inn, 0141 887 1266. Give em a call and ask them to put you through to Mr McCarthy's room or perhaps ask if Mr McCarthy has arrived? They may confirm, they may not, not sure. But I can absolutely assure you he is here. (and why in fucks name, if I was going to make something up would I choose Mick fucking McCarthy?)

Do a search on the Tinternet and maybe you will find some pictures of Superman last night, I pulled back for a minute whilst some paps took pics of him, his mussus and their nipper.

rememeber at a Lenny Henry gig, at the interval Rio Ferdinand at the bar in the apollo... when he sat down people started approaching asking him for autographs, I went upto him and as he looked up expecting me to ask for his signature i said: I'd ask for your autograph rio but your a rag bastard... everyone around him gasped in horror :D
I strolled to the toilet, he took it lightly and laughed.

Met alot of sporting stars, mainly MMA/Boxers though.

Most famous person i've met was B.B King (except i didn't know who he was at the time) was only 7yrs old on a flight to New York.
I was messing about, running around the plane and so on, and he collared me over to him and started talking to me, dunno whatever he said got me quiet.... gave me some musical instrument badges aswell :D

I was working the cloakroom at the casino once when Lou Macari came in. He did'nt stop long, I gave him his coat back, anyway two minutes later he came running back in screaming at me that some dirty bastard had taken a shit in his coat pocket. I didn't know what to say, he soon left muttering something about being done over again by those damn City fans.
