If he is a real mate, ignore it, maybe even tell your mate.

or as a forum answer:

do her up the wrong'un.

There's no wrong in the wrong-un.

OP don't be a shitbag, mates is mates.
Yeah, but rags is rags.
Debase and defile the scrubber. And make sure to wipe off your bell on the rag's curtains when you're done, perhaps humming "we're not really here" as you clean off the tuna brine.
After last night's piss poor display, you will probably be the only blue with something to celebrate on Saturday night.

theoretical question

would it be acceptable, if he wasn't really a mate but you knew him and you know he's a total dick. BUT .. he is bit of a psycho hardnut and he gets on well with your other mates ?

You speak much sense mate... I can now fully appreciate the OP's conundrum.

My mate's bird has made it known that if I were to go round to her house on Saturday afternoon whilst he is in the pub watching the match she would like to "get me upstairs and show me a good time".

Do I

1, just ignore her and go and watch the match with me mate

2, Pop round and give her a quickie and catch up with me mate at the pub around 5.30 hoping not to have missed us scoring.

3, Spend a leisurely couple of hours round at her place practising my lobbing skills.
Its a no brainer mate.he is as you say your 'mate' say no more.
