Where do the glory hunters sit?

I sit in 102 and for the past 3 years the fans around me have changed.

Not that i am bothered cause when the poznan comes round to our bit me and my mate turn back round quicker cause there is now 2 fit birds who sit in front of us so we get to see them bounce a bit :)

I am there for the first time on my new season card and people are very reluctant to open their mouth and cheer, but aren't afraid to do the usual groan when something goes wrong. Already planning on relocating next season if I can.

Yeah you get that but this season there is a good few more singers near thr front is cool a few rows back have some good banter and are the first to stand up,

I have stood in the south stand as well but i can't multi task with singing and watching so i sit in 102 now

Their is a guy who ether sits in 102 or 101 who makes me piss with some of the commnets he comes out with.

Those who get their cameras out every chance they get, when a player get's within 30 yards of them.

and they also tend to take their seat 15 minutes after KO, even though they arrived at the stadium 2 hours before.

This whole thread is very mean spirited indeed.
Why dont you just enjoy our stadium being full, and show any new fans what it means to be part of this club.
Lets have an end to this thread, and others like it please.
I didn't intend it to go that way, was just curious.

We have a new lad near us and he was made more than welcome

Relocated from last season and it's my first time I'm in my new seat, I can't wait to have people (you lot on here) give me evil looks and mouth off to me about being a glory fan. Definitely bringing my 1999 season ticket.

Why call the thread glory hunters then, ANY new fan is welcome as far as I'm concerned, if we can grow to a point where we need to extend the stadium to 60,000 plus, it increases our revenue, thus making us more viable for FFP rules, and the players get to play in front of a bigger crowd, imagine some of the big CL nights in front of 60,000 fans or more, that's what it is all about, I don't care where they come from, how long they have supported City or how many times they have watched a game at the stadium, new fans are part of our future if we are to become THE biggest team in the world!

haha, I'm 19.... and it's actually the goat

Some of these so-called gloryhunters know a bit about the game you know. Last season after having to relocate for a cup game I was sat next to i think a Polish geezer who knew a good pass, movement in the play etc..and applauded at the right times and never once moaned or jeered. Bring them on and get rid of the moaners who cannot get out of the habit and think because they support City they have a God given right to moan after two minutes (we've all sat near one admit it) I shook hands with the kid after the game and I'm sure he felt welcome.

I tend to sit in a different seat most home games.

If some little pecker wants to think I'm a glory hunter then that's fine by me.

It's usually those who are judging others that have the most to hide.

This is a shit thread.....have never had the money to attend on a week in week out basis and dont mind admitting it (still havent).....does it make me a glory hunter....er no. I went to every Europa league match last year at home and plenty of others, have a ticket for Sat and Wednesday.

Listened to all the games on GMR I didnt attend when we were in the third tier of English football (attended around a half dozen), went Wembley for the play off final without a ticket and could not afford a ticket off the touts. Watched in a pub next to Wembley with some cockney red watching the champs league final replay in the background - screamed the place down when Dickov scored and weaver saved those pens... was at Hillsborough watching Keegan's army destroy Wednesday with the new Ali B ruling the pitch, chanted ALI ALI ALI, hands waving up and down in the air...

So when I turn up to watch my beloved blues on Sat in a seat I ve never sat in before and probably will never sit in again, do I really have to sit around self trumped up tossers concentrating on negative bullshit instead of being immersed into a carnival of happy bubbly blues???

If this unwelcoming atmosphere is what our club is going to become then I might just not bother trying to introduce my nephew to the blues as this is not what I remember from the spirit and passion that used to exist in the KIPPAX. ctid - shit thread, sort it out!

I didnt realize new fans weren't welcome? New faces will help grow our club. We can't be the biggest and best club in the world with this attitude.

Fuck 'em mate.

Like I said, it's the ones pointing the finger who are obviously hiding something.

Too many tiny pricked boys trying to be the 'bigger blue', I'd say they grow out of it but some of the tit boxes on here are in their 40s!

Very good. I appologise, I fucking hate those 'I'm a bigger blue than you' threads. I only wanted to know where new s/c holders were seated.

I know mate but this kind of small mindedness needs stepping on a bit from time to time ;)

-- Fri Sep 09, 2011 11:09 pm --

Great post lady! Too many people up their own arses on here. Once a Blue and all that. Not everyone can afford to go all the time. Does not make them any less a Blue!

Fuck me!!!

I'm not calling anybodys 'blueness'

Ahhh fuck it, I'm on a loser anyway.

If it was your first season, now that we're good and all that, your hardly going to batter your keyboard in reply are you?

All the best.

Glory hunters = Global domination

Stop battering them.
We need them!

I suspect that for those of us who have endured the last 4 decades as City fans our future success will feel more intense.

Welcome all new fans and stop this nonsense!
