Personally I don’t care because I just want to wallow in the euphoria of winning the Treble for a while longer. Like the beginning of next season. We have waited a heck of a long time for this so let’s just enjoy it and relax with it, safe in the knowledge that no one can take it away from us.

The players, and the fans deserve a holiday. Here’s to next season when we come back refreshed and ready to start all over again. The monkey is off our back. :-) :-) :-)

I think this win puts City into the pantheon of legendary teams such as the AC Milan of Gullit/Van Basten/Baresi/Maldini and Pep's Barcelona.

Even if we had lost we would be a far better team than the Chelsea and dipper teams that won it in recent years.

Winning cements their place in history - dippers and rags cry, cry, cry!

Yeah agree our annual wage bill next season will be somewhere around that but the money we earn will be tens of millions more..
 
You can argue a few different teams through history depending on the criteria you choose to use but the fact that we are legitimately one of those teams in the discussion is something I couldn't have imagined a few short years ago. That's good enough for me tbh.

We were so good that no matter the level of hatred a particular pundit/journo/opposition supporter has against us that whenever the topic of "Who is the Greatest Top Flight Side Ever?" comes up, they will be forced to talk about us.

Therefore, my prediction is that nobody is ever going to ask the question again. They die on the inside every time they're forced to acknowledge this Club's Greatness.
 
Best ever.... We came back in the league from like 10 points behind Arsenal.... We won the FA Cup and playing the final against the only team in England that had previously won a treble and the whole narrative was that they were going to stop us. And 12 seconds into the game we showed them we meant business....we showed them we were not going to be stopped that easily
And in the champions we beat our biggest nemesis in Real Madrid in that semifinals...we showed the world we could take their punches at the Bernabeu...we could take that spotlight and that awesome goal by our great Kevin fucking De Bruyne just to turn them over at our Etihad with a huge 4-0 score...oh yeah you got that one right... 4-0...
And then at the final...sure..we were shittin it for a bit...then we lost our great KDB in the 34 or something minute...but we went on...we don't fucking give in...we took all that Italian shithousery at their finest...we just March on...and then Rodri score and yeah mtf...the greatest team...treble...the universe will not forget this...EVER...
 
Best English team ever and close to some of the very best teams in Europe, the likes of Milan 88-90.

IF we win the CL next season, we'll make the top 5 of all time. Next season is not a free hit. I reckon Pep and the players will try to play and win the CL final again.

Erm, I'm sure the Rags scored a goal against us in the FA Cup final but apart from that I agree 100%
