Where have all the Insects gone ?

We have a big lavender bush in our front garden it’s been rammed full of bees all “summer” it’s been a pleasure watching them all :)

Changes in farmland practicies, pesticides and fertilisers, river pollution, insect killers, tidy gardens with plastic fake grass, straight lines and B&Q fake plants in pots instead of pollinating flowers in soil, lack of wild areas in gardens and nature, concreting over everything,

Since 1980, one out of every six birds has been lost. That adds up to the loss of 600 million breeding birds over 40 years, according to a 2021 study from the RSPB, BirdLife International and the Czech Society for Ornithology.
So...perhaps the book I referenced earlier in the thread entitled
" The Strange Death of British Birdsong "
By Michael Waterhouse is actually telling the truth and was not written by a crazy conspiracy nutter ......@ dennislawbackheel needs to WTF up and get an understanding of the current state of the serious decline in both the number of insects and Birds in both the UK and further afield .
Its something I noticed over a decade ago ,and so would anybody else with eyes to see. Songbird numbers have been decimated, and we all know what Songbirds feed on .

No mention of 5G for the nutters out there?

An intresting point from Dr Ulrich Warnke

"All magnetic field sensitivity in living organisms....is the result of a highly evolved,finely-tuned,sensory system based on single- domain,ferro- magnetic crystals.
Animals that depend on the natural electrical, magnetic and electromagnetic fields for their orientation and navigation through earths atmosphere are confused by the stronger, and constantly changing artificial fields created by technology..and fail to navigate back to their home environments."

As a life long Nature lover, I don't need doctors and scientists to tell me that powerful technology is interrupting the lives of our insect friends.it is sort of .....obvious that a Bee, Wasp or Hornets, etc etc, with its own ,internal, Natural, sat nav system is not going to co- exist with powerful technology.....waves.

even an utter cretin could work that fucker out imo.

Interesting video—thanks for sharing! I didn't know some of those facts. To be honest, I’m a bit jealous of the folks who say there are no insects around, because we have plenty of them here. It’s like an insect convention in our yard! I’ve sent a couple of requests to bugmd email, hoping they can help us tackle this issue. I’ve heard good things about their products, so fingers crossed they have some effective solutions for our bug problem.
