Leeds-1987-on their kop-scary,before,during and after.Mistook a National Front recruitment stall for a programme stall before the game, outside their kop end, actually stuck out me hand offering money before realizing..
chelsea-1988-away fans ban..night game-3-1 city,Moulden cracker.
Bradford-promotion ,their (new)main stand.
Bolton-league cup/sven/Elano pen.
Liverpool-main stand with the OP!! lost 6nil but great day on the piss.
Northampton-3rd div-freebie in main stand.
Sheff utd-kendall days i think-turned up with no tics after a session, turnstiles locked at 3pm,city had brought loads and away end full-took a chance in their end on the side, pissed out me head with a mate-cheered when we scored and generally was out of order, dutch courage and all that-no bother but to this day don,t know how-things you do when pissed!
Lutton-away fan ban-shouted at David white "go on whitey!" when he came to take a throw in front of the main stand-he looked confused why he was gettin g support from the home end.

I went with a red mate and stood quietly all match until our Dennis back heeled it in. As I came back down to earth from the biggest leap of my life my mate booted me in the thigh !! followed by several others who had a go. The daft thing was they all then forgot about me as they all watched the pitch invasion. What a great time to be in an home area.
Remember Leeds away in 77 well, we went in a mini bus and parked up 1 ile from the ground before walking down to the ground, madness isn't the way to explain that day it was was a complete riot from start to finish. We also played up at Newcastle around the same period in the cup, we went in the Strawberry about 4 hrs before KO, no problems until it started to fill up then we got run out of the place. Stood in the Shed during a Milk Cup tie in the 80's. There have been many over the years but the one place that has always stood out was standing in Block 12 lower stand not saying a word all game and walking out when we scored without saying a word, game? Scotland v England at Glasgow, now that was a day to remember.Blue2112 said:Reading the thread about trouble on Wembley Way, somebody mentioned about visiting Leeds in the 70's and how bad that used to be. How very true! My first ever visit there was in 1977 when for some reason my dad and his mates sat in there end and it truely was an experience. The trouble outside after the game was simply madness and utter mayhem everywhere and I always remember two blues getting a lift home in our van who had been badly beaten. We sat in the car park as the FA Cup draw was made and we never got the luck of the draw as we were handed an away tie at guess where - Bastard Leeds Utd.
Other away grounds I've stood in the home end to see City are Nottingham Forest in the 80's, Bolton at Burnden Park (another dodgy day) Old Trafford twice, once in the K stand with loads of other City around us the night Keith Curle equalised from a penalty when we were down to ten men. But the first time I had stood at Old Trafford was in the late 70's. I had gone with a rag mate when we was about 15 and stood on the original Stretford End and it was a fucking nightmare when they scored and everyone fell forwards and then backwards about 20ft in a matter of seconds whilst holding on for grim death to the person in front or at the side. Remember getting the match bus there and back full of rags and hated every second thinking that everyone knew I was a Blue and all eyes were on me. Also sat in the Anfield Road end when we beat Liverpool with a last gasp Anelka goal and jumped up without thinking. A few shouts from the back and I sat down rather quickly and to be fair to the scousers around me they were ok.
Where else has anyone stood to see City in an away end?
Your right about Stoke, was in there area down the side when it all kicked off the day we both went down, not a nice bunch.pirate said:Being a bit of lightweight not been in too many but heres my list
