Agreed, that took balls and thought he did a good job. He wasn't doing it in a serious opera style way either, I think he was being ironic.

I don't understand some of the grief he gets on here. If find him hilarious, very human and down to earth. Of course comedy is subjective. Whether you find him funny or not the lad is a blue, a manc, he works hard and has done very well for himself.
 
Fair play to the fella, was late for a gig and coughed up for a round of drinks...3.5k it set him back.

Deserves a knowing nod or pat on the back that does tbf.
 
Went to one of his shows last year. Got to say the guy was hilarious, his written material and improv was great. He did his set and then told everyone that he will stay on stage and people can throw questions at him, and anyone who wanted to head off (as the main show is over) can do. Not one single person left and he came up with fantastic answers and funny stories for every question that was asked for another half an hour.
He didnt need to do that extra half an hour, and even after that he told everyone that he was going to be around for anyone who wants to have a photo with him or an autograph. I believe he hung around for quite a while.

Thought he is top bloke ever since and he is a blue too.
 
I (obviously) don't know the guy personally, but from what I've seen of him, and following him on Facebook and Twitter he seems like a really nice, genuine bloke.

I'd love to buy him a pint.
 
Drove through Lincoln this morning and you had people ringing into the local radio station with their delight at getting free ale... loads took the piss and were getting a few bottles of Kopperberg a time each at £4.20 a pop.
Fair play to the guy though.
 
I quite like him, decent stand up with some quite funny material. Surprised so many are anti Manford as I'd have though he's relatively inoffensive?

I think he is alright to bud and getting better, his material and delivery is a bit slicker.
Does he still come on here ?
