Where was Tevez?

Rooney isn't United's CAPTAIN, that is the important word there, he hasn't got a terrible injury, he isn't in any pain, he's got a pulled hamstring, if he wanted to be there he would of been.

How many games did Neville miss as Man Utd captain? he wasn't even in the stadium for a number of them either.

If the club have made the decision to send him to Italy, that is it, regardless whether he's captain or not, and actually it sets a better example for him to just go and do as the club say and show he's willing to do as he's told rather than argue about it and cause problems like he did in December.

If he goes in the summer so be it and that's a seperate issue.

Finally again stop making assumptions and telling us how much pain he is or isn't in, you don't know.

If he wanted to be there he would of been there. Normal league games are different, big games the club captain should be there like Neville and Ferdinand always have, again if he wanted to be there he would of been there.

You're so happy to throw him away, but in all honesty what are the odds on Balotelli wanting to put a shift in next monday at Ewood Park like he felt like doing on saturday? slim.

Tevez is the best player we've had in years and has single handedly almost carried this club for the last 18 months.

I'll admit the odds of Balotelli putting another shift in like that are quite low but he doesn't even need to paticularly put a shift in against Blackburn (much smaller pitch)and he's a confidence player. He'll be on a high form wembley and will be playing better than Tevez has been anyway.

Tevez has carried us at times but he has also hindered us and now we have the players that can bear the burden when Tevez is out.

Cheers foir the service Tevez but after that transfer shit and you're recent form you can fuck off. The club can do without you. We have a more than adequate replacement in super Mario Balotelli.

a) no need for the fuck off particularly when you've put cheers in, you don't go "hey mum, remember that argument we had when we were 15, well cheers for bringing me up and now fuck off".

b) Balotelli isn't an adequate replacement for Carlos, 1 shift all season does not come remotely close to being an adequate replacement.

-- Mon Apr 18, 2011 1:33 am --

you don't know that at all you're just assuming because you don't like him.

There's no evidence to any of your posts it's just hearsay.

So- if the club told him to go and see a specialist on Saturday you think he should have told them to fook off?

So do you really believe if Tevez said to Mancini "I want to be there as club captain to support my team mates on such an important day" Mancini would tell him no? How naive are you?

I've just got back from London, incredibly proud to be a blue, and then come on here and read this shit.

If anyone thinks Carlos Tevez plays for himself, I ask you to watch again the Quarter-Final against Reading, and view one incident where Tevez runs from the halfway line to chase down the keeper, and as it passes him, runs back and puts in a sliding tackle to stop a Reading attack, covering roughly 100 yards in total. If you can watch that incident and still be of the opinion that he plays for himself, then there's no hope for you as a football spectator.

With that considered, how can you even begin to think that he doesn't care about how Manchester City get on?

Would you rather him watch the game or get his leg sorted as soon as possible by the best specialist in Milan?

I know which one I would rather have, and I know which one Mancini would rather have. And guess what me and Bobby Manc have in common: we both know that Manchester City are a better team with Tevez in it, and we both want City to win on the pitch. Why? Because that's the nature of supporting a club. Any genuine supporter backs a player who gives his all on the pitch ahead of some bullshit agenda where, for whatever reason, some mindless nobheads find it acceptable to criticise a player who embodies the club's motto: pride in battle.

True, and with all the revelations about his private life his mind wasn't on the job causing his form to be terrible. Maybe Tevez's mind is elsewhere who knows. All i'm saying is Terry, Fabregas, Gerrard and even that twat Rio would not of been in Italy when their teams were in such a big game

how do you know that?
As i cant be bothered looking for each one i went for the most recent.

Fabregas missed this season CC final with injury...

No i would not tell them to fuck off, i would have said "as club captain, going to see a specialist for a normal pulled hamstring can wait when there is such an important match going on, it is my duty to be there, i want to be there"

His career is not on the line is it? Can he or the club not afford private planes to get him to this magical specialist in a few hours?

I'll keep saying it, if he wanted to be there, he would have been there. That is all that matters.

Family is different, they've shown loyalty to me my whole life. Tevez has played for us but never showed any loyalty. I'm grateful for what he has done for the club and helping them move up the league. However, as far as I'm concerned he's a **** of a mercenary, as proved at every club to date.

Balotelli is more than an adequate replacement for Carlos. Balotelli has the talent to be up their with the very best. No matter how hard Carlos works he won't ever be up their with the very best. A good player? yes, a great player? yes, a legendary player? No. Balotelli will make himself a legendary player one way or another. He's alrady halfway their at the age of 20. Forza Balotelli.

I think Mancini is an utter hard bastard that will do whatever is necessary for the club to succeed - we have seen planty of evidence of how ruthless he is this season.
