Where was Tevez?

a) no need for the fuck off particularly when you've put cheers in, you don't go "hey mum, remember that argument we had when we were 15, well cheers for bringing me up and now fuck off".

b) Balotelli isn't an adequate replacement for Carlos, 1 shift all season does not come remotely close to being an adequate replacement.

Family is different, they've shown loyalty to me my whole life. Tevez has played for us but never showed any loyalty. I'm grateful for what he has done for the club and helping them move up the league. However, as far as I'm concerned he's a **** of a mercenary, as proved at every club to date.

Balotelli is more than an adequate replacement for Carlos. Balotelli has the talent to be up their with the very best. No matter how hard Carlos works he won't ever be up their with the very best. A good player? yes, a great player? yes, a legendary player? No. Balotelli will make himself a legendary player one way or another. He's alrady halfway their at the age of 20. Forza Balotelli.

and Balotelli has shown loyalty, commitment, passion, desire, work rate and maturity when apart from saturday?

I think Tevez is better than Balotelli ever will be.

I don't think anyone can assume anything about why Tevez was not there. Good or bad, we just do not know. And I think it is especially bad form of those who are assuming he simply doesn't care. Like any other player he wants to win. He's shown that time and time and time again.

how do you know that?

had Fabregas been sent away for specialist treatment in another country?

and WNRH, you're just making it up as you go along.

Mancini already has the track record of "my way or the highway" so even if Carlos protested I doubt he'd have got anywhere.

So do you really believe if Tevez said to Mancini "I want to be there as club captain to support my team mates on such an important day" Mancini would tell him no? How naive are you?

I think Mancini is an utter hard bastard that will do whatever is necessary for the club to succeed - we have seen planty of evidence of how ruthless he is this season.

Why is sending him to Italy so necessary for the club? He's got a pulled hamstring FFS, there is no magic operations from some genius surgeon, it requires rest and the right recuperation, like i have said, he could have got a private plane from London to Milan in a few hours and saw him on Sunday. Any player would have done that if they cared for the club and his team mates. You would not find de Jong or Kompany as club captains missing such an important game to go and see a doctor for a pulled hamstring.

-- Mon Apr 18, 2011 1:48 am --

Of course i am, lets hope your idol recovers from his career threatening pulled hamstring soon so he can fire us to glory.

Because when you spend 40 million on a player because when the owners have spent best part of 500 million on a club - because when you have 6 games left to qualify gor the CL and 1 potential FA cup final maybe just fookin maybe they want him to see the best doc they can lay their hands on so that he can be back available for team selection - using you logic no footballer would ever leave this country for medical reason but they do - in fact they do all the time - why now you ask? i dont know but he went with Mancinis and the clubs full knowledge and permission - what we dont know is if the club instigated it or Carlos himself and until you know that whay the fook are you prepared to believe the aqbsolute wqorst of a players whom has been outstanding because Ballo had a half decent game

I think his stir with wio and the whole semi derby has been a turning point for Balotelli and his desire to do well with this club. (and that milan said no for now)

It's not a case of showing loyalty. Hardly any footballers are loyal. It's about not being unloyal. Tevez has been unloyal with his transfer request. Balotelli hasn't, he has always made it clear that oen day he would like to play for AC milan, I haven't seen him forcing through a move though. If I played for liverpool I wouldn't be loyal to the club but neither would I be unloyal by handing in a transfer request and saying I wanted to go to City. That fact that he has shown very few of those attributes yet various managers and top players rate him as one of the bes youngsters ever in the game. Imagine what he'll be like when he actually decides to put effort in.

Balotelli is already on even footing with Tevez. Tevez is at the top of his game right now. When Mario decides to be on top of his game he'll be up their with Messi and Ronaldo. Let's not forget he is only 20 and has a better goals to game ratio than either of the two i just mentioned had at the same age and they'd had the same team mates for years.

Who knows maybe he did maybe he didn't. Does not hide the fact he was there. Maybe we can afford the specialist that only works on a Saturday though

i disagree, I've seen very little to suggest anything in agreement with you on Balotelli, and he has a far worse work ethic which means he won't get the most of these supposed world class talents he has.

-- Mon Apr 18, 2011 1:59 am --

just an unbelievably cynical viewpoint.
