Yeah but Newcastle didn't have a 50000 stadium when they were getting between 16-20000 in the early 90's but we still sing it to them!
no but it did hold 40,000!

and ours held 55-60000 but we barely got above 30000 in the 80's!

We were here, there, every fookin where
& had more than you, more than you
we were shit, yes, but still the fans came
the only shame, is where were you, where are you?

We all know that City fans are the most loyal fans in the leagues yet we hear this chant constantly and stand there with our hands in our pockets.

annoyingly we know that it's a bag of shite....So what can we sing back? We need something. 34 years and still here is my favourite, but is there someone out there on Bluemoon who can think of something better.

It silly to stand there and let these fuckers get away with a blatant lie. Come on Blues lets sing something back about our LOYALTY!!!!!

Don't let this one go blues...

Anyone???

Everyone knows we had 28000 loyal fans in the third division but we have 47000 watching us now. Everyone has a right to sing it to us, we'd sing it to any other club who had a rise of 18000 with a rise in quality!

Maine road held, 33 thousand and was sold out near on every week in div 2 and 1, even when the rags were winning everything under the sun. We moved to a new stadium that holds 15k more than Maine road and we near on average 45k a season, we had one season with bad attendance and that was cos of pearce and the lowest goals we have scored ever at home in a season. We have not had success in 34 years and its going to be 35 next month, bit we still get 45k+ fans week in week out. So stop chatting shit. And on to wolves there average has increased 4k since they gained promotion since promotion the other season

where were we when we were shit ??

in the old third division...thats where.

Look where we are now though... as Yoda would say. "giddy am i "

that's too f'in obvious for some

St James' Park can hold more than 12k. Maine Road was what? 35k after the seating was put in? Pretty obvious that you can't get 47k in there.

How about a return of:

"When your team gets knocked down and you still fill yer ground,
thats Amore!
When you go down again and you still fill it then
thats Amore!"
That's ace,change Amore! To man city and we've got a gr8 reply.

Chelsea used to get low crowds pre premiership. I remember Spurs taking 18,000 fans to their dump to fill the fucker up.

Also remember Newcastle having crowds of 8000 back in the day

Liverpool a few weeks ago had 35,000 in the stadium just because they've hit a blip. When Spurs were in that similar situation under Ramos (2 points in 8 games) the stadium was still packed. This Liverpool one is a myth too that they have 'great' fans

I think if a lot of the bigger clubs got relegated there would only be one or two clubs who would still get a huge turnout
