Where would City be now: if Mourinho replaced Pellegrini instead of Guardiola?

A leisurely Friday night counterfactual discussion about how things would have developed through today if we had replaced Pellegrini with Mourinho instead of bagging Pep.

Where would City be now?

Would we have won any trophies?

How many managers would we have had since his appointment?

Would the fan base have accepted it (there were a few on here that supported the idea)?

What other things may have transpired?

Interested to hear the considered (and, no doubt, piss taking) opinions.

Still be in a very good position.

Pep is a genius but our structure is sound.

Doubt Jose would have lasted too long, but do think he would have had success.

The fued with Liverpool would have been next level toxic!

Klopp would have pasted Mourinho. Lfc would be treble winners, 3peat etc. Everyone would be watching scouse comedies and having those scouse perms.

City would be full of players like Lukaku.. or Lukaku. Utd would have gotten Pep who then leaves after seeing the shite that comes with the job. We wouldnt have seen the likes of Kevin, Foden, Lewis, Bobb, Rodri.

Makes me shiver.

It's easy to have minimum high standards of behaviour in a hypothetical situation.
But Miserable Mou would have seen me not attending live games.
The man is a cheat, toxic and his team's (after the initial period at Chelsea) are horrible to watch.
Remember how he called out the Ambulance Service when Peter Cech got injured against reading ?
Can anyone remember the Final (Cup Winner's Cup ?) when Porto played Celtic.
Porto continuously dived, cheated and behaved abominably.
It's got nothing to do with him managing the Stretford Snakes, but they deserved each other...

He fucking hates them and is the only person I can recall to call them out in the media.

Fair fucks so he's alright in my book.

The only way to deal with cunts is to be a ****!

A few minor trophies: League Cup(s) and UEFA Cup(s), beyond that very little?

His 'pragmatic' style of play would not have gone down well with the City support.

I can remember Ron Saunders at City who had a similar mentality. He was forced out because the fans dislike the way his teams played.

He moved on to Villa and won the Championship and his team went on to take the European Cup, shortly after he had flounced off.
