Nah, Tipperary the county not the town/city is best. :-)

If you like flat fields with nothing in them for miles and miles. Also it's Nenagh and Thurles are the capital towns.

How was your move mate? Settled in ok?

Settling in still rather than settled. Daughter is happy at her new school and that's the main thing.

In a couple of years she'll be at uni and I'll be able to move back permanently. I miss it tremendously.

I lived in Ao Nang so used to pop round to Railay on the boat. Did you go to Phi Phi, Hong Island etc?

Two places in NZ would be high on my list:

Takapuna on the North Island. Close to Auckland but still got that small-town character
Kaikoura on the South Island. For the sealife
