Where would you live if you could

I've been to and lived in many places in the world, some beautiful but dull, some ugly but with a certain buzz but I like the simple things in life so it's a choice of 3...

Orkney. Main island. Anywhere around the Lock of Harray. Archaeology everywhere, a record shop a few miles down the road and some lovely whisky.

Idaho. A couple of hours north of Preston. Achingly beautiful, hardly anyone about and only 2 hours away to annoy @idahoblues

Isle of Purbeck. Once again beautiful countryside but with the Weymouth, Lulworth etc close, Corfe and it's castle even closer and some fantastic village pubs.
You didn’t get to the best bits

Or I might come home to Ireland...back to my hometown of Clonakilty; the best small town on the planet. But I am not sure that I could handle the weather.

I will preface by saying that the only time I've visited was during the summer of 2020 and a lot of COVID rules were still in place - the Clonakilty I saw was pretty much entirely shut and boring. Would be happy to give it a second go, but as a man not into fishing I'd have to say its only the sausages, bacon, and pudding that puts it on the map.
