I currently have a painful and infected in growing toe nail. Anyway a bit of salt water is apparently good for these things so this evening I went down to the beach took off my trainers and socks putting the socks inside the trainers and leaving them on the pebbles before wading in to the sea beer in hand watching the incredible sunset. Happened to glance back to where I had left my footwear only to see a large black dog nick one of my socks and fuck off with it. Fucking hilarious our Croat hosts have been in stitches and so has the mrs.

Toe nail is still fucked as well. Thank fuck I bought travel insurance!

Yes yes I am it was a sock that meant a lot to me, I bought it as part of a six pack of pairs of socks in Primark in Bournemouth at the end of August it would have lasted me at least another 5 years.

If it had been an old sock with a hole that my big toe kept protruding from I may have let it go, I am also emailing Ryan air to request some reduction on the £15 I paid for my flight home next Tuesday as my luggage will now be lighter as a result of this grievous loss.

I lost my jacket at that hotel about 10 year got pissed on cocktails before i even got to my room took 2 days to realise it was missing great hotel
 
Going on a cruise in January round the middle east India Thailand Singapore then 5 nights in Bali to recover
 
Next week I’m going up to a fabulous hotel on the shore of Loch Linnhe. A beautiful setting and the food is exceptional. It’s my birthday soon so if anybody wants to start a fundme page, don’t be shy. :)
 
Kind of rare that I will actually be having a holiday - not because of any problem with it, but because I travel so much for work anyway that my idea of a break is not to go near an airport. Still, January I shall be wandering out to Antigua to watch a Test match. Well, there'll be some watching I suppose.
