Some interesting answers here to the question I posed in my original post.

That shot of Tarnat's v Blackburn was something to behold, but he didn't make a habit of it, unfortunately. Nice to see Neil Young and Alan Oakes get a mention, though nobody seems to agree with me about Franny Lee...... maybe it's an age thing.

Nicky Summerbee is interesting. He was once recorded on TV as having the hardest shot when measured electronically, but did you ever see him produce one in an actual game? Sergio and Kolarov, on the other hand, did.

I had forgottenabout Rodri's goals. Some were incredible strikes, and hopefully someone could dig up a bit of archive film of them. If only I could remember who they were against!

I can't see past Franny either, certainly with the ability to use it as well. Alan Oakes yes pretty accurate too. Colin Bell when he needed to took some beating and of tbe modern times Fernandinho worth a mention.

Many of Sergio's looked like poor goalkeeping until you saw them from a different angle and realised how hard they'd been struck. One in a 4-1 win at Sunderland stands out in my mind.
