There have been many players I was delighted to see City sign, going back a bit I am referring to players like Channon and Marsh, I know they were unpopular in many quarters but at the time I was super giddy.

This question is about which City player did you NOT really rate when we signed him but subsequently really impressed you after a while.

Mine is quite current. Ilkay Gudugan for me.

He is so consistent and runs games and the midfield in a way different to KDB but still as effective.

So who did you not really rate when we bought them but has gone on to be an absolute first class performer and who you've done a tory U turn on?

You didn’t rate Gundogan?

Hard one but of the current crop I’d say Rodri.

I’ve not been his biggest fan but he’s slowly (no pun intended) turning my opinion of him.

Gundo
When we signed and he then got injury for almost a year, i said why pep signed him.
What an intilligent player he is

No one, I’ve had faith in pretty much everyone which shows how brilliant our transfer strategy has been plus a little help from Pep :)

Erling Haaland. I’m warming to him.
Okay I’ll stop being silly and say Tommy Hutchison and Neil McNab. Both underwhelming signings at the time but impressed me in the end, Hutchison quicker than McNab.

Absolutely. After the Community Shield, I realised the media were right and he wouldn't fit our system and only looked good because he'd been in a farmer's league. I'm starting to think he might do ok for us, although players always struggle in their first season with Pep, so will see if he can perform next year.

Andy Morrison - we were struggling to afford some lower league journeyman and I knew we'd reached rock bottom. We'd still be there if we hadn't signed him
