I think we need to concentrate on the club in Manchester next.
The ground around the outside of the stadium is a right shit hole. When it rains the place is just full a giant puddles everywhere. The paint up Joe Mercer Way is faded and slippery when wet. We’ve been there nearly twenty years and still can’t walk out of the East Stand and get onto AnR towards Town without walking via Scandinavia first. The plot of land behind the East Stand is just a large waste of space that’s not being utilised to its full potential. There’s hardly anywhere to eat or drink around the ground. The transport to and from the stadium is not up to standard.
I couldn’t give one shiny shit about any of these other clubs around the world we have within our group. If none of them ever won a football match it wouldn’t bother me, and even if they won every single match it wouldn’t benefit Manchester City at all. What do they actually bring to the table?
They don’t provide us with players, they hardly bring in much sponsorship we couldn’t have found elsewhere, do they even bring us new fans (because fans of Melbourne and Yokohama didn’t even want us joining them and New York seemingly hate us)?
If they all folded tomorrow I doubt I’d even read the articles about it.
