Which country next for the CFG group

Nancy French league 2 followed by Brazil and Mexico then one in Africa presumably South Africa and perhaps finally one in East Asia Vietnam or Malaysia is my bet

I went on a City trip to Abu Dhabi a few years ago and at a Q & A asked Txiki where we would go next. He did say Malaysia which I thought strange.

Ecuador, not for personal reasons but Delphin of Manta looks a good bet, only a 3 hour bus ride away...just sayin

Wherever is a popular destination for Etihad airlines, amazed so many haven't cottoned on yet.

Wonder why we havnt looked about in Argentina ???

Some of the possible options in Argentina…

Racing Club, rivals to Independiente, play in sky blue and would be a good option, but they are one of the big sides there.
Their ground is about 200 hundred yards from Independente - Aguero’s old side. Racing stadium capacity 51,500

Atlético Tucumán another top-flight team who play in sky blue. They have spend most of their time in the lower divisions, but are geographically isolated so are unlikely to be a great talent magnet. Stadium capacity 35,200

Quilmes Atlético Club could make sense. They are just outside Buenos Aires in Greater Buenos Aires so would be handy for attracting local young talent. They are in the second tier at present and are one of the oldest established clubs in Argentina.
The only down side is that they are sponsored by the local brewery of the same name and that might not go down too well with City Group chiefs. Stadium capacity 30,200

Most of the clubs in Argentina are multi-sports clubs so we may inherit a hockey side or basketball side too.

Thanks for that Chris

Droyslden (and change their colours) or Maine Road FC.

Spend money, become the next "Salford", then once they get to league level, loan our youth players to them to get real league football.
