For the Juve match in December we flew in/out of Milan

Had a bit of time to kill on the Friday so had a wander round Milan then got the metro to the San Siro to have a look around

Milan, especially round the train station, seemed well dodgy

There's not a lot to see near the San Siro, seems mostly residential with no bars anywhere. Unfortunately didn't have time to do the ground tour but by all accounts it's an awesome stadium. It's enormous from the outside!!

There was loads of anti Ballotelli graffiti sprayed on walls outside the ground

As my family is from northern Italy, either of the Milan teams would do me as I could visit family.
Also, my wife is from Lille, so I would like to be drawn against them, I could see and stay with her lot, and they are Lille fans, so the home leg would be good, as some of them may come here.

Would love Barcelona in the later stages. In fact I'd love to get knocked out to them at Camp Nou in the quarters, as odd as that sounds. Obviously I'd like to beat them more, but if we progress out of the groups and into the knockouts, I'd have no shame being knocked out by them. Plus I'd likely make a week holiday in Barcelona out of it with the missus.

I really want them in our group but if you can guarantee me we'll meet them in the knock outs I'd take that instead. Want to see Messi dancing around Coms before running into a wall of solid Kompany :D

San Siro is a tip, well outside the city centre, and is renowned for trouble between the metro, and the ground. I went to the equivalent of the charity shield between Milan and Juve a few (lot) of years ago, It is a bit like the Nou camp, spectacular but crumbling. Milan isn't the best place for a night out, best bars are around the Corso Como, and the Navigili, a gentrified canal zone.

Madrid is a great city, so would like that, Lille is small, but has a lot of good beer drinking (unusual for France), although I'm not sure they play CL games in Lille.

Barca is great, but I've been there before.

The one I would really like is Benfica, Lisbon, a great town, bars restaurants etc, went to the old stad de Luz many years ago, would love to see City in the new one.

Zenit St Petersburg would be fantastic if they were in, its only a few hours on the ferry and Finnish ID card holders don't need a visa if we go by boat.

To be honest, its the home games I'm looking forward to more.
