Which is the more desperate scenario?

You're mixing the scenario we faced last season and the one we face this season. Last season we did all we could to win the league, but United wouldn't fuck off. In the end they did what we're doing now and fucked it all up, and we capitalised. The way we're playing now, United could still fuck up but we won't be there to capitalise because we're playing shit and are not doing what is required of a team to A) defend it's title and B) catch the team in front of it.

spot on - plus last season hurt fergie and he won't let them slip up like that again

Its not about how hurt Fergie is, its about whether they can sustain the run they're on. I say they can't. Their squad is aging and punching above its weight.
I'm not saying they're in the box seat big style but I refuse to write the season off in February, given what happened last year.
They really aren't punching above their weight.

in a nutshell.

If the players are of the same mind as Blue Mooners, the title truly is lost.

There is no feckin way the bacon faced wanker will let a 12 point lead slip.. Everyday since we won the title he will have been reminding them how it felt to loose and that it was in there grasp etc etc etc, so IMO no fucking chance they will loose a 12 point lead!

"1997/98 season. Following a 1-0 victory over Chelsea at the end of February, Man United looked to have all but sealed their fifth Premier League title, boasting a 12-point lead over the Gunners. However, Arsenal proceeded to win 10 consecutive matches, including the famous 1-0 victory at Old Trafford to wipe out the mammoth deficit. During that same period, Fergie's side lost twice (against Sheffield Wednesday and Arsenal) and draw three times (with West Ham, Liverpool, Newcastle), leaving Arsenal to wrap up the title with two games to spare".

There was no fucking way in 97/08 either. I say again. IT HAS BEEN DONE.

I once banged a model. I very much doubt it will happen again.

The players' attitude is the problem, not the attitude of posters on here

He might not have a cock and balls like some of our players, in which case he would know ;-)

Oh come on, Hefner, check the posts being made on here last April and tell me that none of this was being said then. The torch and pitchfork brigade were frothing at the mouth about the players attitudes after last years Emirates game.

Does it really matter what the attitude on here is when the players attitude currently stinks (bar a few)?
Correct me if I am wrong but you dont get points for having a good attitude on your forum?

Did you watch the Southampton game? We were up for against Arsenal last season, we just got outplayed, Saturday was very different. As you say you never know and I for one will be very happy if it happens.
