Which is Your Favourite Only Fools and Horses episode

Had a discussion a few days ago after the Gavin and Stacey topping the TV charts over Xmas, somebody describing G and S as a comedy and I said I'll show you a comedy and switched the TV over to whatever one was on.
We were laughing nearly every other sentence and marvelling at the script and it still being funny 30 years later.
Good clean and funny and I think sometimes I scroll down the channels and whatever one happens to be on it always makes me laugh.

Love most of them.
Shadow, the armed supermarket robber was a good one and the 2 Indian fellas who conned Del with a small statue from the market.
Too many to mention.
The supermarket one was on yesterday. Funny as fuck. The robber thought he recognised Del who denied knowing him.
Then the robber finds out he was too late to rob the bank. He disputes the time and then blames his lateness on this crap old watch he’d bought from the market (at which point Del Boy and Rodney’s face drop!)

Some of the early ones where they were on the pull were great too. Much preferred when uncle Albert arrived.
The writers pulled a masterstroke in introducing Albert. Not many sitcoms or dramas pull that off replacing strong characters with possibly a better one - look at Minder once Dennis Waterman left and the writers introduced Arthur Daley’s nephew who was just not believable as being a hard man.

Couple stick in my mind beyond the obvious chandelier and groovy gang ones.

Del gets some paint and paints the Chinese restaurant and its glow in the dark paint robbed from the railway.

One where they’re playing high stakes cards in the flat and Del says flip a coin for everything (it’s a double headed coin) and he says Trigger, who knows about the coin, can call to make it fair and he calls tails.

Jim Broadbent episode was a cracker too

So many really. Amazing series.

“They seek him here, they seek him there, those policemen seek him everywhere, is he in heaven or is he in hell, that damned elusive... sh-a-a-a-a-dow”
