Which past City player would have prospered most under Pep

Agreed. Curly Wurly was definitely Peps kind've player.

Ahead of his time, criminal he never got to grace the international stage on a consistent basis...

If only he didn't have a 9 iron for a foot.

He was world class as a defender imo.

Him and TC my favs growing up, his ‘9 iron’ was a byproduct of having to play the traditional game with Quinn, white etc up top... he was everything I’d like to see John stones become!

Good call on Benarbia and maybe Curle and Phelan ( although there are question marks on their footballing brains imo). Berkovic possibly could do of a done job under Pep.

Can you imagine Kinky under Pep.
Yes.

Pep Guardiola, May 2018; “I can forgive anything but if you don’t run you are sat in the bench with me”

And that’s where Kinkladze would be, then sold in the first transfer window possible

I wonder if Pep could have turned Rodney Marsh from a fantastic but inconsistent (maybe even lazy) player into a fantastic consistent player. If so, he would probably have been the best player in the world.
The man that Pep would really have enjoyed working with is Colin Bell. Definitely a Pep type player. I see so much of Colin in KDB and look how well he is doing under Pep.

I don’t like “lol”ing, but, LOL!

Not sure what’s so funny... but based on your reply to the other poster, obviously he would have to have adapted, work harder and learn from Pep... and if he had I stand by what I said... he would have BECOME the best player in the world

If he didn’t .. yeah he wouldn’t have lasted 5 minutes

Every single City player ever who has not played under Pep would benefit from playing under Pep. Every single one.
Even "King" Colin or Peter Doherty.
