if Dunne wanted to stay and fight for his place then selling him was Hughes' biggest mistake. other than that, not necessarily one specific player but occasions when he didn't make glaringly obvious substitutions contributed to this. Only time will tell if it was Hughes' lack of ability to get the best out of the players or just that their best isn't good enough.
