I like him but not sure he can make the step up.
I can only see Demi, Bony, Kolarov, Zab and Caballero going.
There won't be any overhaul and its not needed either.
People here suggesting sterling ....amazing City fans to say the least.
He should be given a chance at least, for all the years we've played average players, it'd be nice to see a youth product be given that slot instead unless it's Boyata....
You see, we actually get sucked into thinking a player is decent because they play for us and we paid big money for them, and Pep will sort them out, yada yada.
An example, Townsend or Navas - not even close imo, I'd have Andros every day of the week.
I've just watched a lovely run by that left back at Hull thats been talked about, Robertson - lovely run and finish. Meanwhile we have fucking AK
The shite we watch in midfield like Fernando, loads of better players all over the Prem.
I'd clean out:
Bony
Demechelis
Kolarov
Yaya
Fernando
Navas
Delph
Otamendi
Mangala
Hart
Sterling
No idea mate, not my job. He's obviously a decent keeper, not saying he's shit. but I think he can be improved upon - put it this way, I'd have De Gea, Cech, Lloris, Courtois ahead of him and maybe ones like Forster and Butland too.Who do you think we could realistically sign that is better than Hart?
Genuine question, not having a pop.

That's why I said MAYBE, and as I just clarified, not saying they are the ones I'd go for, just saying I think they are possibly better keepers.Really? Forster? Butland? Jesus wept.
AgreedBony
Sterling
Delph
Yaya Toure (don't mean to offend him by putting him with such trash players but he's finished with us now)
Fernando
Kolarov
Zabaleta (same as with toure, a legend who has declined rapidly)
Navas
Demichelis
All of the above need to be shipped out immediately.
Only one I'd be tempted to keep is Navas as he can offer a lot to the team in terms of work rate and ability on the ball under pressure but ultimately he is no way near clinical enough.
+2Agreed
I agree. When you compare our squad to let's say Liverpool or Spurs would you say our squads comfortably better? I woukdnt.Bingo, you hit the nail on the head just right there.
We are looking at replacing almost half of our entire squad.
He spend serious money over time on dross signing such as Sinclair, Rodwell, Bony, Garcia, Savic, Fernando, Jovetic, etc... and kept going on.
While we should have promoted youngsters from the EDS and made one or two big key signing per year.
I'd say we are a fair bit better than Liverpool in squad strength and quality. Spurs are a different team alltogether than Liverpool and although I think we have a marginally better squad in quality theirs is younger and improving quickly, and a lot less injury prone.I agree.
