Which players do city owe a debt to?

Dickov - for the biggest goal in our history
Goater - for being Goater
benarbia - bringing class to an average team at the time

No its the Kinkladze who turned down some of Europes top clubs, including the rags(who offered us Scholes) to stay because he genuinely loved us.

Is that right?

Sweet Jesus, in hindsight that was a shocking decision!

I would have made the same one when we had him though.

Don't forget, that goal only brought us level.

We still had to win the shoot out, so you should include Richard Edghill in there.

Yes, and Dickov missed, so he can fuck right off any other ''owed'' list lol

Paul Power, Joe Corrigan, Richard Edgehill etc. all the players who were undeservedly booed but still loved the club.

Emile Mpenza, his goals arguably kept us up that season.
Really liked Mpenza he scored some invaluable goals, can you remember his nickname the players gave him?

Not sure but Kiki Musampa's nickname was Chris...best nickname of all time!

Kevin Horlock for me, - A genuinely consistent performer, all season, when we were really in the mire, trudging around the 3rd division (Cica 97/98)

The major part that his that first goal, against Gillingham, at Wembley, played, in leading to where we are now, should never be underestimated.

Another vote for Super Kev, a top pro and one of the sweetest left pegs in football.

I still laugh now looking back on that day he was sent off for......... aggressive walking
Super Kev

Wasn't that Barton at Spurs, 3-0 down at half time, Megan knocking on the door of the job centre and won 4-3 ?
