If u could bring someone back into the fold as thanks for services rendered who would it be?
Even to just bring them back as a one off for us to thank again.

For me it has to be

Kinkladze.our loyal shining light in our darkest times.

Dunne.what an honest servant to our club.

Goater.he is city.

So who and why?

Kevin Horlock for me, - A genuinely consistent performer, all season, when we were really in the mire, trudging around the 3rd division (Cica 97/98)

The major part that his that first goal against Gillingham, at Wembley, played in leading to where we are now should never be underestimated.

Agree completely!

Richard Dunne also brought us stability through the years.

I don't know if we owe Shaun Goater anything but I love the man!

not a player but the most mportant man ever involved with city in the last 100 years by far.....Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan

In September 2008, Sheikh Mansour bought Manchester City Football Club to much initial confusion. Sulaiman Al Fahim was the figurehead with Sheikh Mansour "the main player"[9] and Robinho joined within hours of the buyout being completed on transfer deadline day. It had been said, Sheikh Mansour had to been looking for a Premier League club to buy for a while[1] and Manchester City's 48,000 seater stadium[10] with the sixth highest revenue stream in England was a desirable purchase with potential as no other mid-table Premier League club could offer this proposition.[10]

In 2010, the British newspaper, The Times ranked Sheikh Mansour as the sixth most powerful person in sport, citing Mansour's approximate £750m investment in every area of Manchester City and a £1 billion investment in the area around the City of Manchester Stadium as contributing factors

Another vote for Super Kev, a top pro and one of the sweetest left pegs in football.

Is this the same Kinkladze who sometimes could not be arsed when were in Div 1 and as soon as relegated who wanted out for a big money move. Yes he had loads of talent and was a joy to watch when he wanted to do it. When our backs were against the wall he was sometimes seem wanted.

Along with the aforementioned usual names, in a pivotal time in our history ( when our decline could have continued to oblivion), I know people single out dickov or even horlock, I would suggest.....
Andy Morrison (the lionheart).
