Trinity high school opposite the Dental Hospital 1989-1994 , it was nothing like it is now, we were there during the Gooch/Doddington drugs war era , it was all happening within 500 yards , then transferred to Longsight where im from, crazy days.

I started the year after you left in 92, Yes I remember the spencer block me my pal had an LSD trip in science in that block Mr Hamptons class used to call him Hamlett because of his Cigars he Blazed on

My science teacher was a psychotic loon called Mr Noone.

I went through 5 years at Burnage thinking Mr Hamlett was his real name.

I had him to, we called him red socks and shouted Why at him when he went into the little room between classrooms, used to go mad.

Anyone else go to what was then Burnage High? Four footballers went there too - The Beckford brothers of City and Wes Brown and Roger Byrne (killed at Munich) of United. Other famous alumni include Lord Norman Foster the architect (eg the Gherkin in London) and me.
I like the word "alumnus" and its plural "alumni".

I was at Burnage Grammar just shortly before the wheel was invented.... 1966 to 1973.
Had a great laugh there but some of the teachers (most still wore gowns then) were vicious bastards.
