By the same token maybe we should start counting every ticket we sell twice in the attendance figures
The author looks about 12, but has had over 5500 articles published on GiveMeSport. Clearly he's just churning them out, and if Wikipedia is wrong, he's wrong.Every Premier League club ranked by how many empty seats they've had in the 2022/23 season
️ 19. Newcastle - 95 empty seats on average ️ 12. Arsenal - 504 empty seats on average ️ 5. Aston Villa - 1,032 empty seats on averagewww.givemesport.com
Don't know whether others have come across these stories that spread around social media like wildfire. I'm starting to believe it's actually done intentionally to keep the 'Emptyhad' myth alive for all the salty and jealous reds as they're struggling to compete with us on the pitch.
It's such lazy 'journalism' using the previous capacity of 55k and has us second in the league for empty seats in the whole fucking league because of it. If the average of 53,236 in the article is to be believed it's only 164 empty seats and not 1,781. In turn this actually makes us one of the best in the league. I've seen the same figures used elsewhere disparagingly using us in the actual title of the article and it's hard not to get fucking tired of it all.
About 2.5 articles per day, clearly woefully researched and subjective. The author looks about 12, but has had over 5500 articles published on GiveMeSport. Clearly he's just churning them out, and if Wikipedia is wrong, he's wrong.
Absolutely.Who fucking cares?
I think it's intentional, yeah. I unsubscribed to The Athletic yesterday for the same reason. Should've done it months ago, but gave them too many chances. It's not 'empty seats' that's the narrative in their case - just constant belittling of our achievements through BS FFP whinges, all designed to clickbait bitter fans of cartel clubs whose heads we live in rent-free.Every Premier League club ranked by how many empty seats they've had in the 2022/23 season
