Don't know whether others have come across these stories that spread around social media like wildfire. I'm starting to believe it's actually done intentionally to keep the 'Emptyhad' myth alive for all the salty and jealous reds as they're struggling to compete with us on the pitch.

It's such lazy 'journalism' using the previous capacity of 55k and has us second in the league for empty seats in the whole fucking league because of it. If the average of 53,236 in the article is to be believed it's only 164 empty seats and not 1,781. In turn this actually makes us one of the best in the league. I've seen the same figures used elsewhere whilst disparagingly using us in the actual title of the article and it's hard not to get fucking tired of it all.

All the airhead had to do was type in 'What is the Etihad stadiums current capacity' where he'd get the answer of 53,500.
Think we're all used to the negativity and lies from the press by now, but as fans, if that's what we have to take to support the best team in the land. So be it.

It's not even from them mate. I dont really have a social media account and just have a spoof one for the supporters branch as that's how they keep everybody updated unfortunately. That's where it came up of my 'news feed' originally.

I've seen it elsewhere as well though as they all seem to be regurgitating it. All just to add to the red club's pathetic wank bank.
