Who’s gone in the summer?

All 3 players are worth £70 mill minimum

Anything less would be a pisstake

Every club takes the piss on selling to us yet we have to give away players at shit prices

We are the best team in England and have been for years yet clubs lowball us for players who have been pivotal to our success all three are world class talents but we are expected to give them away

It fucking stinks and pisses me off

He’s also the one who could end up making us look silly. Stick him in a counter attacking team and I’m sure he’ll score shed loads. I still don’t think he would ever be good enough to be main striker for us though. Surprised Spurs haven’t suggested something.
How would that make us 'look silly', we're not a counter attacking team and we bought him for £28mill(?) 4½years ago. He'd go for £60mill at least with 2 years left on his contract, so it's profit all the way.

Bernie has never really recovered from the Mendy racism nonsense after he was ripped to shreds by the media and subsequently banned by the FA.

Yes, it was a misjudged comment from Bernie, but those media c*nts new exactly what they were doing in trying to unsettle a player who was tearing up the PL week-in-week-out.
Any player who is affected for so long by that self inflicted incident to me is weak.

If he had done it during the last 12 months, the consequences with the black lives matter movement would have been considerably worse.

Just wondering what price the club have in mind for Jesus? If Martial is worth 50M then surely Jesus is worth about 70M.
I can’t see us getting big money for any of them due to market conditions currently. 90% of all teams in Europe are absolutely skint. I heard on a 93.20 podcast the other day that Real Madrid haven’t bought a player for cash in over 2 years and that many other big clubs are in the same boat. Think they also said that the French tv deal has gone from 1 billion down to 250 million. Italian deal similar.

I think you're right, and I can see clubs doing a lot of cash plus player deals in future.

And the one thing that unites the European clubs is a total fear of the premiership teams asset striping Europe - we are not in a great place financially as a league but 20 times better off than any other countries teams.

FFP has gone, will be massaged, changed, altered to allow big money to be put into the game - the only problem for the old guard is if they do this they dilute their stranglehold on the game so suspect they are trying to find a way to get money in without losing control - which is why we saw the ESL brought forward AND league level deals being attempted.

Also think back to the furious 8 letter, city’s response was ‘these clubs should pay more attention to protecting the league than going after city’ again it’s all obvious now but wasn’t so much at the time; in Avery similar way to Barca looking at their own dealings rather than at others.

Our owners always seem ahead of the curve, perhaps it'll click with everyone else one day. Too late could be the cry...

As has been mentioned I just can't see who can afford any of the three who they would be happy to join.

It's not like we're even interested in any players from abroad who we could use in a deal, none of them are going to want to go to Spurs.

I think 2 out of 3 will stay and wouldn't be too surprised if all 3 stayed if we didn't get Kane.

It’s not simply a question of clubs being unable to afford transfer fees, they’re also unlikely to be able to match the salaries. Players may well want out, but with few buyers and the prospect of a much reduced salary, sitting tight for a season might become more appealing.
