Who’s gone in the summer?

How would that make us 'look silly', we're not a counter attacking team and we bought him for £28mill(?) 4½years ago. He'd go for £60mill at least with 2 years left on his contract, so it's profit all the way.
I mean in terms of the number of goals he’s likely to score. If he did go to a domestic rival he’d probably come back to haunt us at some stage.

Any player who is affected for so long by that self inflicted incident to me is weak.

If he had done it during the last 12 months, the consequences with the black lives matter movement would have been considerably worse.
Weak is a bit of a strong word for it, especially considering the recent instances of high profile of sportsmen and women speaking out about the pressures of being an elite athlete and mental health issues. Who knows what is going on in his head.

We just expect players to be able to perform at their best without taking in to account where they may be mentally (Stones is another example for us, and going back further David White). If his head is no longer in it for City, then probably time for him to move on, which is a shame because he was doing consistently well on the pitch up to that incident.

I have personal experience of this at work where I had to change role because of a culmination of pretty stressful incidents led to a crisis of confidence. It was a role that I really enjoyed, but I just couldn't work through it and found that I was affecting the rest of the team.

Sorry but anyone, never mind a high profile sportsman if in the slightest is weak willed should not go anywhere near Twitter.

That is one nasty, vicious bunch of people.

You either have to be sordid , mental or have a good therapist to be on there.

Banter for a sportsman should be kept in the dressing room, not on social media, because it will always end up offending someone in this woke, snowflake world.

There's no way we sell all three players if we're not bringing anybody else in. Would be utter stupidity on our behalf regardless of whether they want out or not

I think Bernardo will leave and Jesus dependent upon Kane arriving.

The links with Juve and Jesus have suddenly gone quite, maybe a deal is almost done?

Just wondering what price the club have in mind for Jesus? If Martial is worth 50M then surely Jesus is worth about 70M.
Martial is worth 50m according to who?

A player is worth what someone wants to pay. Its that simple. The best we will get is some sort of loan move with an obligation which is fine, its money on the books which is what we need.

I agree that social media can be a bear pit at times, and if you are a sensitive person, probably best avoided. The problem is that you don't always know you have an underlying mental health issue until it hits you. In my line of work there are a lot of people with undiagnosed/untreated PTSD. Just an small or insignificant incident could easily tip them over the edge; I've seen it many times.

So blaming the issue on 'weak willed' people for going on social media is not really fair.
