Who’s gone in the summer?

In my opinion if he goes on loan, we should be collecting at least £20m as a loan fee or an obligation to buy for £65m+.

I don't want him to go, I think we're better with him but you can't keep an unhappy player. We're a reasonable club too and won't slap an outlandish fee on his head forcing him to stay.

Not a chance we get figures like that unless we sell him to another English team, which Bernardo has already ruled out.

Not saying he's not worth that kind of money, because I think he is. Just that we're kind of limited to dealing with cash-strapped clubs

Why is everyone bar us seemingly cash strapped? My take on it is the signing of Grealish is the icing on the cake if Bernardo stays. If he goes, he's the replacement.

A top goal scorer now is our replacement for Aguero. Evidently Pep wants a ready made replacement & not a project going forward. To replace like for like looks like it may cost us a quarter of a billion quid. That is fuckin insane money!

I just don't get why other clubs don't seem to be on the rinse out list like City? OR is Grealish at £100m & Kane at £120m what they're worth to us to move forward? If it is, hopefully we'll get the Kane deal done & it will prove amortised money well spent....

exactly what I said before, best we can hope for is a loan deal and it wont be one very great financially either. we can forget about a cash deal someone paying us 50m plus for Bernardo. :(

Bernardo sadly will be lost on charity pretty much.

but if we would be in for him now with 2-3 years on his contract we would be looking to spend 80m on him or more if he had been at a club winning titles, playing crucial CL ties last 2-3 seasons.

We can’t sign Kane or a striker without someone leaving though? I’ve said I think our best balanced partnership is Dias and Laporte but can’t deny how good stones was last season? It now though should be Laporte’s shirt to lose if he keeps playing like this?
Using the logic used here, what would you say was Stones poor form that caused the loss of the position to Dias? And what was Dias poor show that caused him to lose his position to Laporte?

I'm not saying Laporte shouldn't start here: Just tryna let you see how you are baking your bias into the 'Merit' claim. :)

Kwantinu!

Love sterling. Never thought he'd finish his career with us but I don't want him to leave like this. He should be going for North of 70-80 and we aren't getting that at this moment in time. Hate to see him leave this season.
