Hadn't even thought about the number 8s but you're right, it's an area that probably needs to be addressed this summer or the next. Gundogan only has a year left on his current deal too so depending on whether we offer him a new one or what his plans are for the final phase of his career, he could need replacing soon. Hopefully we can persuade Bernardo to stay a bit longer.If we don't deem it neccesary to sign a fullback and I personally don't think we will then it leaves an opening to bring in an 8 instead, we're lacking a man in that position already with just 3 options unless foden is pushed back there and we need to be future proofing the position with Bernardo not entirely happy here and gundo and kdb wrong side of 30.

I think we’ll keep cancelo and Zinny as the left backs and prob go for a right back if I had to put money on it today.
