Who’s gone in the summer?

I hate when the backup keeper takes up a foreign spot. That's just bad planning and execution in my opinion. I get we got stick with Bravo as he was originally bought to be a starter, but the plan should be to have a homegrown as backup and Free up that foreign spot. :(
In an ideal world, I agree with you. But Pep is going to want someone he can trust back there regardless of nationality. Are their attainable HG keepers willing to be our number two? Maybe Muric, but a loan is probably best for his development.

At Celtic after Ajax rejected the offer to sign him. As for Tosin, you can't realy rule him having another go in the first team, I don't think he will make it at City.

You can see how Tosin would make it back given Stones is going down hill, HG squad players are always welcome and he's still got about 10kg of muscle to put on before he's the finished product physically.

His Blackburn loan has gone really well, so if he could follow up with a good Premier League loan next season then 2021/22 could easily see him come back as a 4th choice CB.

The great thing about Tosin is that he has great technique whilst being 6'5'' and fast. His mistakes last season and before mostly came from inexperience and you can see at Blackburn that now he's more confident he's improving at a rate of knots.

Stones is the better player when on form (although no longer good enough for a regular place in the first team). Tosin is finally getting a consistent run at Blackburn but thats not enough and he could easily waste a season if he stayed at City.

I don't know. But you can't tell me there are no backups good enough to do the job.i don't expect the player to be some superstar. I mean unless we aren't paying attention, Bravo's passing ability has diminished significantly. It's barely better than Joe's these days. Surely there are English lads who can cope at Bravo's current levels.

Bravo’s passing is still far better than any homegrown keeper, it hasn’t diminished that much watch his last couple of games of, still far superior to Joes.Even if it wasn’t it’s what he was signed for and what his replacement would be required to be, there is no way we buy a keeper that might need to be first choice if Ederson is injured that isn’t more than competent and confident with his passing. Don’t believe any homegrown keeper comes close to what Pep wants.
