Who’s gone in the summer?

Stones is the better player when on form (although no longer good enough for a regular place in the first team). Tosin is finally getting a consistent run at Blackburn but thats not enough and he could easily waste a season if he stayed at City.
Man I would hope Stones is still a better player than Tosin, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get an Angeliño-esque cameo back in the first team though. We haven't managed our home grown spots particularly well.

Wow. Comparing them at any age is just crazy. Tosin ain’t good enough.

I am not comparing them, I just want to point out that you can still be very good player while you are playing in weak leagues.

One of our problems, is that we don't value whats in our hands.
The club spent so much time & effort to convince Alexis Sanches, if that effort was directed toward Sancho, he will still be City player now.

Back to Tosin, I am not sure how he will turn out, but I am sure he can't be worse than Stones or Otamendi.

I would think in the summer he will evaluate all the loanees and decide then, although he has never decided to integrate one of them in 4 years.

If I were to guess, he will probably be sold for 5m and people will call it a win for the academy or something like that. I've turned cynical now...

People underrate Ottamendi in my opinion and his contributions to our success. I’ve lost faith in Stones but when he signed he looked a great player with a big future, again he has made contributions to us being the dominant force in the PL. Tosin were he good enough would’ve been kept with the squad I think. He did get opportunities but he didn’t have any stand out performances or attributes. Bouncing around on loans is never good either look at Roberts. I really think a top quality finished article CB is needed.

Bravo
Otamendi
Sane

Will be the big ones to go; we'll need to replace all 3 and can't really get it wrong. Bravo is a pretty shocking number 2, we can get better in that position, hopefully a home grown number 2 for the foreign quota. Otamendi is well past his best and doesn't want to be here - hopefully we spend big on a world class CB to replace him/Kompany to partner Laporte - I like Dias at Benfica. Sane for Sancho hopefully.

We don't need a lot but we need to get it right.

Two CBs needed, Ake as the HG player to replace Stones and then top class CB to take Ota's foreign spot.
