Grealish lol
I don't know if it's a Pep thing or city thing. Yes, none of of our managers really seems to trust youth as much as we would love to see. But Pep did give Foden, Garcia and Torres (not academy but still) chances. So one can hope.No way under Pep will Tommy Doyle and Co get extra minutes. He has no faith in youth it would seem? Even when the 'tired and tested' are not working, he still won't budge on that. Daft I think considering the other big teams show good faith in good, young players.
Its more wishful thinking and food for though, than reality. But i don't see why we cant get 3 or 4 replacements in,and one of them could be Grealish. We could use the buy back on Luiz as leverage, and then theres the will of the player? That's not a mini overhaul.
Gundogan and Sterling will not be leaving. I don't think Mahrez will also.
Zinchenko might still stay and fight for his place and Mendy we might be stuck with due to no buyers.
Fernandinho, Garcia and Bernardo will leave imo.
I don't think we'll be able to afford Grealish as Villa will ask for £85m plus.
So do I, let's start at the top with the rag loving administration !I believe we need a huge overhaul come the summer.
Get used to it mate as we have 2 years of it to comeNo way under Pep will Tommy Doyle and Co get extra minutes. He has no faith in youth it would seem? What’s funny about grealish?Grealish lol
His price tag for a start. What’s funny about grealish?
£80 mill is near what he will go for fella . It might be laughable but it will be about rightHis price tag for a start.
Did you miss this from the o/p thoughHis price tag for a start.
So,if money and availabilty weren't a barrier.....who would you replace/upgrade?
Yes, I guess I did.Did you miss this from the o/p though
Out: Zinchenko, Mendy, Garcia, Mahrez, Jesus/Sterling (either or).
In: Digne, Romelu, Ruiz, St Maxim, Haaland/Dybala (either or but Haaland preferably).
Every one of those players listed 'In' would improve City's offensive play. Romelu and Ruiz would add some much needed steel to the midfield where we have become pedestrian at times. Both have the ability to break up play and they have a good passing range. St Maxim is a livewire, those teams that sit back would be drawn to him thus creating some space for KDB/Foden etc to nip in behind. Haaland is a beast and would benefit from Citys' industrious build up play.
Laporte for Ake and that looks pretty good---------------------Eddie--------------

Either/Or for me,just thinking Ake's extra mobility and deftness at left back might give him the edge in a 3.Laporte for Ake and that looks pretty good
Yeah fair point though I still think Aymeric is our best defender once he fully recovers his fitness and mojo after a long injury and then CovidEither/Or for me,just thinking Ake's extra mobility and deftness at left back might give him the edge in a 3.
I never thought i'd say it....but it lovely to have such a centre half problem!Yeah fair point though I still think Aymeric is our best defender once he fully recovers his fitness and mojo after a long injury and then Covid
Why would Villa sell him for 80 million when he’s just signed a new long term contract?£80 mill is near what he will go for fella . It might be laughable but it will be about right
