If Laporte isn't prepared to fight for his place then he can go. Raheem has one more season providing he does sign a new deal

Actually think Cancelo could be a surprise shout. He seems a bit of a slapped arse at times and his career so far suggests he doesn’t stay too long at clubs. Not playing in the final may see him look for a move abroad.
 
This is about improving the squad, and in order to do that we need to sell good players to get a good fee and buy Top 5-15 offensive players (not Bernardo's or Mahrez's). Selling Mendy, Ake won't get us that much money and won't improve our team as a whole.

So, pretty easy. Sterling and Laporte can give us at least 100m between both. Use that money +120m to buy 2 world-class offensive players. That would be a perfect summer and with "only" ~ 120m net spent.
 
Garcia, Aguero, sterling, Rodri add in city group and eds sales the likes of Harrison, porro, nmecha etc and we could be seeing around £150 million in sales coming in

Those 4 out, a striker in (likely Kane)

a mobile defensive midfielder in (Bissouma? Luiz?)

And a pacy runner who can control a football and use his left foot to replace sterling (no idea who, double swoop on spurs for son?)

If the Kane or alternative fee is something we deem reasonable we could do all that for comfortably less than £100 million net and have a lower wage bill.

Fix those areas with those players or players with similar attributes and we end next season as champions again and anything else is a bonus.
 
The players play the game. Poor passes, poor touches, 2nd to everything. So tired of Pep getting the flack all the time.... so damn tired and boring to blame him. The shit performance is down to our team not showing up and Chelsea taking advantage.
