Absolutely genuinely! I used tyo hide behind the sofa when he appeared on TV. Oddly enough, my mum rang me the other day after he'd been arrested to have a good chuckle about it.

As a kid I used to watch Armchair Thriller.
Not sure if any of you remember it. The opening started with a white armchair . Then a shadow would sit it the chair . At the end of the opening tune , the shadow's fingers would spread out over the arms of the chair as if gripping it.
Early 70's I think.

It was around 1978, I met one of the actors from the Dog's Ransom one on a train shortly after.

Does anyone remember Strange But True? There was a bit on it with some ghost kids doing "ring around the rosy" around a pylon. It scared the shit out of me. You could see a pylon from my bedroom window and id be up every 10 minutes checking.
Oh, and the "Omen" music when it played in only fools and horses when damien was born used to make me shit myself according to my dad
