Who could be our media mouthpiece?

For pure entertainment I'd have Mike Summerbee. He bleeds blue and wouldn't stand for any of nonsense. If not then Goater, Horlock (providing he doesn't walk aggressively) , Horton, Gareth Barry would all speak well of our beloved club.

I'm pretty sure before I left the UK in '07 when it was derby day there would always be a representative from both clubs, be it former players/managers or a on occasions a current player that was out injured.

They've clearly decided to do away with any kind of impartiality and are trying to keeps their legion of armchair subscribers happy with ex rags and scousers on board (I am surprised with the lack of Arsenal representation) as they are paying the fee.

They've decided that other than City fans Joe Rag in the home counties doesn't want to hear the views of (or even know of) Kevin Horlock or Gerard Wiekens but would instead love to hear the nonsensical ramblings of Dwight Yorke.

If Wigan are not playing and he's in the vicinity then Rosler should be on, failing that Big Joe Royle or KK will do for me.

I love Summerbee but I think we all know he's never going to be asked back.

What with Liverpool and United having the punditry pretty much sewn up - as empathised once again last night with Neville and Scholes preciding over the derby - we need someone from our ranks fighting our corner.

But who would you choose from our ex-players?

Mike Summerbee, bleeds City but knows his stuff too and not one to be intimidated ;-)

I cannot see any of our ex players being full time pundits for Sky.

But to not have a 'one- off presence' in the studio for a City game is fuckin poor from Sky. Especially on a derby.

Candidates for studio guests would be

Rosler
Goater
Dickov
Viera
Pearce
Franny Lee

Viera.

Who would argue against him?

I think Viera may have bigger fish to fry....Not claiming to be in the know, but I would be surprised if he wasn't our next manager.

No one has mentioned Paul Power - he's an educated chap and a true Blue (even if he did go to Everton)
