Mate, I think it was tongue firmly in cheek.

I'd say Gary Owen, Andy Hinchcliffe, Dennis Tueart or Lee Dixon of those who already have some degree of media profile
 
Dennis Tueart. Blue through and through, quite eloquent, got media (radio experience), former club director
 
Thought I'd mention that Clive Allen was co-commentator on the feed here for the Arsenal game and he was drooling over City. There wasn't even a snide comment about Demichelis.

I suppose Arsenal fans might claim having an ex City and Spurs striker was a little biased but from my point of view it was a refreshing change.

Clive Allen was an Arsenal striker albeit for the briefest of spells!

Clive Allen is a sound bloke, met him once and have always thought he speaks very well and vary fairly
