I remember us all making one of these in woodwork, was part of the curriculum, mine had ‘MCFC’ painted on it sky blue, they banned them shortly afterward so didn’t get many days out at Maine Road unfortunately.

Names, only ever had one and that was Haaland, snide one for £10 and didn’t get a choice, not really for me, rarely wear any City shirt anyway though with the exception of the ‘St Marks’ one, don’t really possess the tolerance to put up with random gobshites.

Back in the 70's the only kit you could buy down here in thanet was the black and red kit. It came in a nice box !

I never had a sky blue kit back but always found it odd how the sports shop in margate only sold the away kit.
