Who do you dislike more, United or Liverpool?

I have to say my hatred for Liverpool is newer and fresher but let’s not forget who the true enemy is.

I fkin despise Liverpool and their horrible fans. I enjoy a United loss more than anything but I wouldn't be able to cope with Liverpool winning something significant.

Failsworth was a good mix of red and blue. We all knew each other and drank shoulder to shoulder. Clayton on match day was more blue (obvs) but there were some decent reds around too. Perhaps it’s because we share a city and Liverpool is a common enemy?

Is this a fucking joke or what?

Some people need to take a look in the mirror.

United have been shit since Slur Alex finished.

Never, ever, forget how they lauded it and belittled our club.

I want them dead. Every last fucking one of them. Scum evil ****s.

Liverpool? An irrelevance, a bit like when we couldn't beat Everton for a length of time.

Don't give them any further degree of self importance by hating them. Pity is what they deserve.

£1bn spent in 30 years and no closer to a league title. Bunch of Welsh turds, nothing more.

As for United, they sustain my life to the extent I wouldn't enjoy it half as much without the pure hatred I have for those rats.

I go back further than you, to the extent of seriously worrying for my safety at Anfield when you were possibly on the verge of being conceived so my dislike of Scousers is deep seated.

I dislike the Rags most but Dippers are not far behind. Mind you, the list of teams I dislike is quite long.

United with Liverpool a very, very close second. There was always some respect given mutual hatred of United; but that’s gone for me after the bus antics.

They fought and thieved their way across Europe getting us all a bad reputation. Then caused Heysel and kept quiet about it whilst campaigning for JFT96.
that was Chelsea fans & Belgian skinheads........

Has to be Liverpool,if the rags win the league it's nothing new but if Liverpool win it we'll never hear the last of it and I can't stand that gurning idiot Klipperty Flop.

If ever there was a thread that summed up the changing nature of City's support.

The volume of people who are suggesting that they would prefer Liverpool to beat United (in a match or to a title) is a disgrace.

It is inconceivable and I'm having a hard time believing that City fans with a lifetime of ammunition (as well as a massive dump of toxic local rivalry) and reasons for not being able to stand United can be swayed by a few incidents involving Liverpool over recent seasons.

Was it Liverpool fans giving you shit in school for the whole of your childhood? Was it Liverpool fans "giving it the big 'un" throughout a massive chunk of your adult life whilst reveling in City's struggles? Was it Liverpool behaving like a horrible bully, on and off the pitch for the last 20 years?

No, it wasn't.

Get a grip!

This sort of thread is great ammunition for those that claim that successful clubs attract a type of fan that don't actually 'get' the clubs.

Have a word with yourselves if you would like to see United beat Liverpool (or anyone) in anything.
