Who do you dislike more, United or Liverpool?

I hate Utd as a club. I hate Liverpool as a place, the people, the club, the victimhood cultish behaviour, the m62, the word, the made up liverbird, the Scouse bit of the Mersey, Scouse (it's hot pot you twats), the Beatles, Ken fucking dodd and his diddi men, Mel c, Daniel Craig (worst ever bond). Yeah, didn't realise until I got it off my chest. I don't like them.

I'll mention my father here. First establish his credentials: he was a regular from 1945 to about 1977, used to go and watch City at home and City reserves at Old Trafford post war. He went to Newcastle to watch City win the league in '68 (and got back the following evening as the bus buggered off without them). He's a Blue. Through and through.

He doesn't hate United. Never has. He views them as the other Manchester club and enjoys their success, even when I would express my disdain for them. He's never gone down that route, he remembers the old days.

But Liverpool? My word, the venom he has for them. He's 82 now, but the vitriol and loathing is quite something. Talking about how he doesn't hate the club, but does hate the fans. How they've always been violent and entitled.

I'm a casual City fan. I live in the south because my parents moved down here. I go, oh to maybe 5 games a year. And my Dad loves seeing the City he grew up with succeed. He's thrilled to bits. But he hates Liverpool. Despises them. I guess the point is, this isn't a new thing.

My grandfather went to watch plenty of derbies at united. In fact back in the day it wasnt unheard of for (admittedly a minority of) mancunians to sometimes go and watch united on weekends when city were playing away.
But he was always wary about going to liverpool away, and always viewed them with suspicion. If he was still with us, he'd probably echo a lot of what you dad says @Henkeman
In terms of on the pitch, I think it was only in the 60s they got some real momentum as a club. That's when 'history' starts.

As clubs, not much to choose between them, but as fans, as much as Rags can be wankers, I still have family and mates who I like and enjoy their company and are pretty sound so it's hard to look on them in any great negative manner, on the other hand, red dippers I just find horrible little scruffy c*nts and have nothing nice to say about them.
If we you are of a certain age, and were lucky/unlucky enough to holiday in North Wales in the 70's and 80's, you'll know exactly what this shower of shit are about, they got off lightly because there was no internet back then to show them in their full 'glory'.

Scousers - rags are now irrelevant to us , thy are that far behind .....

Infrastructure, finances, team, squad , ground, manager, youth set up, women’s team, international reach. Can You name one thing better at scum. Attendances possibly?

I never thought I'd hate a set of fans more than united but I've realised in the last year that the scousers are a different breed. Winning back to back leagues would be amazing but prolonging their wait for a PL trophy would make it even sweeter.
