Who do you dislike more, United or Liverpool?

I'm not forgetting the Rags but I'm also not going ignore Liverpool, just out of some weird point scoring notion.

Let's get it right too, Liverpool have been at it for more than "just the last two seasons". Anyone saying that, where have you been? Selective memories? They have form for manufacturing rivalries with non local rivals, just by their twatty entitled behaviour, when they happen to be challenging.

They did it with United, they did it with Chelsea(am I missing out Arsenal? I can't seem to remember them challenging at the same time), they started with us soon after our first PL win. It was right about the time when they realised we meant business and the satisfaction of seeing the rags suffer wore off.

As others have said, as a club it's United but you have to blind not to see Liverpool fans are worse, now we've had a taste of it first hand. Our relationship with the Rags is not uncommon as a local rival, given their success we'd have to expect some of the stick they've given(we're not soft, we take it well and give it back). I'd much rather have Spurs or Chelsea challenging with us than Liverpool, Spurs fans can be annoying and way above themselves but Liverpool fans really put them into perspective.

People saying on here those of us who answered liverpool are mistaken if they think it’s all down to short memories based on recent years - although tbh the question wasn’t who you’ve hated longest anyway. Conflating length of dislike with intensity of dislike is a mistake.

For some of us, significant dislike of lfc and their supporters more specifically, goes back a long time.

Spot on, some are twisting it into a "biggest blues can only answer this way" debate.

United. However a lot of their "fans" have either stopped watching football or are considerably less vocal these days. Liverpool annoy me more at the moment but I've not doubt as soon as the filth start winning things again they'll all rediscover their cockyness

As a Manc it's been united for decades, however taking a step back and trying to be rational (dangerous on here I know) the dippers are without doubt the most obnoxious set of weaseling scumbags walking this earth, Heysel, Hillsborough, bus bricking, premature self entitled ****s, and it's them I hate most, except for slippy G obviously, he's a bit of a hero of mine

The stick/abuse/gloating from the Old Toilet "faithful" was character building, and I will enjoy their fall from grace and our corresponding rise all the more for it, but (most) of what we got from them was pretty typical local rivalry albeit on an inflated scale
