We all hear about overworked people like doctors and teachers, but is anyone else on a cushy number?

I'm well paid, never have to work more than my contracted hours and reckon for the last 4 years have averaged about 10% productivity. The rest of the time I just spend pretending to be busy. The work I do takes hardly any thought processes at all.

So why do I hate it?

Maybe it's not challenging enough for you

Yes, I'm a teacher so I start work at 8:45 and finish at 3:15 and then get 13 weeks holiday a year where I can totally forget about work.

I thought teachers spent ALL their holidays marking books, preparing the syllabus for next term and going on school "field trips" to Pompeii?

Do everything on scraps of paper then sling it in the bin on the way out.

Not me, work long hours, often stressed and rushed off my feet and have to work Saturdays twice a month.

On the bright side I do okay money wise and the experience can only do me good.

Don't forget the subsidised by the tax payer pension and as much free paper and crayons as you can stuff in your bag every day.

Because you don't do anything and you're ashamed of yourself.
