Who is going to play left-back?

Clichy with Angelino backing him up. Not many right wingers around anymore anyway, so it's not like full backs have to be old school full backs anymore. More importantly, can he get up and down the line for 90 minutes and deliver a ball. Hopefully, Pep will see that Clichy can do the former and needs a bit of work on the latter. Angelino could save us £10M if given the chance!

However, I would play with three backs and five midfielders across the middle unless there was a serious wing threat. City rarely set up for the opposition, as it is usually the other way around.

How are your Holidays going Manuel?

The least talented kid was always left playing fullback.

i spam from experience. Jazus was I crap.

Hence, the old joke...

You any good? Where do you play?

Left back.....in the dressing room!!!

It seems Pep has taken a liking to Clichy based on Pictures and videos from first few days. Who ever comes in I expect on the bench.

Won't be surprised if Clichy is vice captain

He definitely needs competition, an idle clichy isn't the best on the eye... However, i'd wager that Gael is probably one of the fittest players at the club, along with dinho. A little coaching and he could be the surprise package in peps team!!

Wouldn't be surprised if Delph was given a go esp due to the fact pep likes using 'inverted' fullbacks. From pep confidential he seemed to use them vs counter attacking teams which are the trend atm in the Prem. Also would be good in the press and is ok on the ball Compared to most fullbacks anyway
