There has been a few Shaun Wright-Phillips, Paul Lake, Johnson, Nicky Weaver. But I think IMO that the only player who atm is the best youth player is...

Paul Lake without a doubt. he would have been a true legend - simply awesome player who was some way away from his peak when injuries took their toll!!

the best atm is probably swp, but that could change soon!

SWP and Ireland at the moment but if Ireland has another season like last then it will be him

That 'IF' had a large font on purpose! Ireland was great last season because he got his head together and stepped everything up a gear, which I hope he continues to do in the coming season. As 19/20 year olds, Johnno was for me the better footballer, just.

This for me is because Ireland tries to over do things a bit too much sometimes. It's fine doing little flicks when your 3-0 up, but Johnno is just a bit more direct - which is something I like to see in a player.
