We had two options. Sane and Sterling.
With Mahrez, Bernardo can go to his natural central position with Silva, KDB, and Foden.
Gund goes to the 6 with Dinho.

More likely to see Mahrez centrally. B.Silva isn't a CM and never has been.

Fernandinho, Gundogan and Gomes should see us through to January fine. Have we the right player for the business end of the Champions League? No.

Lemina for me.
I know but CAM is not all that disimilar from what Dave and Kevin do in our formation. They roam and Bernardo will likely flourish in a similar role. Riyad could obviously play there as well as he's super talented, but I just don't agree that it's more likely than Bernardo.Playing Cam in a 4-2-2-2 isnt CM

The only reason Bernardo played out wide last year is because we didn't get Sanchez.
I mean he didnt play a single minute at LW(Sanchez's position).
There was ample opportunity to play him centrally and he was overlooked every single time
