Are we definitely going to go in for someone else do we think? Personally I'd like to get Fernandinho's repalcemere in place now but all of the candidates I'm aware of have moved elsewhere now.

Don't know if there is anything in those or if they are just speculation as he was one of the first names I thought of. He's not a regista type if that is what Pep is looking for.

Been linked before but nothing has ever come of it. I'm sure last year quite a few people were complaining that he is too slow.

I'd be delighted if we signed him: instant cover / competition for Fern and can play CB so we would have added cover there to compensate for the risk of only have four CB's that include Vinnie.
 
Personally don't see anyone out there who could do Fern's job right now. We won't find a direct replacement, so our only options alternatives, not something we should be chucking a lot of money at. Maybe we could wait until January and see who's performing well but that is risky, as we've seen in the past you need to build on success.

I'd give Tom Dele-Bashiru a chance in pre-season until we sign someone, thought he was excellent when he came on in the cup vs Leicester, thought he deserved another look in last season.
